Overview
We are seeking highly accomplished Director – Strategic Finance, IPO & Investor Readiness for a leading organization in Riyadh.
The ideal candidate will combine management consulting experience, strong strategic finance expertise, and proven hands-on exposure to IPO preparation, capital markets, investor strategy or equity story development.
This role requires a strategic finance leader who can analyze complex businesses, challenge strategic assumptions, develop compelling investment narratives and personally create high-quality investor, board, and executive materials.
The successful candidate will act as a key partner to senior leadership, supporting IPO readiness, investor engagement, strategic planning, valuation enhancement, and long-term value creation initiatives.
Education, Experience & Skills:
- Mandatory professional qualification: CA, CPA, or CFA, supported by a strong academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience across strategic finance, corporate finance, corporate strategy, investment banking, transaction advisory, investor relations or comparable senior finance environments.

Mandatory: Meaningful experience within a leading management consulting firm, supporting strategic advisory engagements such as corporate strategy, business transformation, financial performance improvement, operating model improvement or market analysis.
(Big Four audit, assurance, accounting, or compliance experience alone will not be considered equivalent to management consulting experience) -
Mandatory: Demonstrated hands-on experience in IPO readiness, capital markets, investor strategy, equity story development or investor-facing strategic projects.
Candidates must have supported actual transactions, projects, investor materials, management presentations, or similar deliverables.
(Training courses or certifications alone will not be considered as equivalent experience.) Strong ability to interpret and challenge:

- Experience working with senior stakeholders, including executive leadership, boards, investors, or shareholders, is preferred.
Key responsibilities:
- Support senior leadership across IPO readiness and investor preparation, ensuring alignment between business strategy, financial performance, operational priorities and overall investment proposition.
- Develop and refine company's equity story and investment narrative, clearly articulating the business model, market opportunity, competitive advantages, growth drivers, financial performance, and long-term value creation.
- Analyze and challenge financial performance, business plans, forecasts, profitability, cash flows, KPIs and strategic priorities to ensure they are credible, evidence-based, and investor-ready.
- Identify and assess key business and valuation drivers, including revenue growth, margins, customer economics, market expansion, operating efficiency, scalability and strategic risks.

- Conduct market, industry, competitor, and strategic analysis to benchmark performance, validate positioning, and strengthen the overall investment case.
- Partner closely with Finance, Strategy, Investor Relations, Legal, Operations, and executive leadership teams to ensure consistency and accuracy across investor-facing and IPO-related materials.
- Prepare senior management for investor meetings, roadshows, and external stakeholder discussions by anticipating investor questions and strengthening responses around growth, profitability, competition, execution risk and future returns.
